10B2 Ash Wednesday Mass

This week 10B2 welcomed Fr Simon Lerche to celebrate Mass on Ash Wednesday.

After distributing the ashes, Fr Simon spoke to the boys about the importance of repentance and how Jesus' death on the cross meant that death and sin had been defeated. He also encouraged the boys to pray, fast and give during the season of Lent and following Pope Francis' wishes, extra prayers were offered for peace in Ukraine.
