Offering an alternative vision of education since 1881
A Catholic education for boys of all faiths and none
Offering an alternative vision of education since 1881
When boys or indeed their parents/carers leave St Cuthbert’s, their connection should not and does not end. St Cuthbert’s Association is a long-standing organisation or club of which they will be valued for the rest of their lives.
In September 2021, the association was relaunched to ensure that the lasting friendships established during years of schooling are maintained into adulthood. Supported and promoted by volunteers the association aims to organise a host of events and fundraising activities but also to provide advice and networking opportunities for old Cuthbertians.
The St Cuthbert’s Association aims to be one of the most active alumni network of any secondary school in the country.
The school boasts a proud and enviable group of alumni; boys who have become ‘great men’ working across the globe in every different profession. The old north-eastern folk song says ‘wherever you go you’re sure to find a Geordie’ and we aim to establish a connection that ‘where ever you go you’re sure to find a Cuthbertian’.
