St Cuthbert's offers Remote Learning via MS Teams in a variety forms depending upon the current situation. All boys are assigned to Teams according to their classes. Teachers will either upload work or broadcast lessons as appropriate.
If a boy is self-isolating, parent/carers should inform school of his absence. The House Team will then record his covid-related absence on our register system. His teachers will know of the absence by checking their registers. Teachers will then, at their nearest convenience, do one of the following:
If the member of staff is teaching Sixth Form or a practical 'hands-on' subject such as Art, DT or PE, the member of staff may choose to broadcast their classroom lesson if appropriate. Please note that options 1 and 2 given above will mainly be used by staff and currently the option of broadcasting live classroom lessons is at the discretion of the teacher.
Please note that if the number of boys self-isolating were to increase significantly, the above may be subject to change. Any changes will be communicated to Parents/Carers via the school website and Families Update.
All information regarding our remote learning plans are given on this web page.
