This week 10B1 welcomed Fr Martin Morris to celebrate Mass on the Sixth Wednesday of Ordinary Time.

Today's Gospel was the Healing of the Blind Man, and in his homily, Fr Martin told the boys a story where a married couple sitting in ther living room believe they have been watching their elderly neighbour put dirty washing up on her line to dry. It wasn't until the husband washed his windows that he and his wife realised the elderly lady's washing was clean and it was their windows that were dirty. Fr Martin taught that our hearts can often be blinded by negativity and this can affect the way we view the world; he urged the boys to view the world through positive eyes and a positive heart.

Many thanks go to today's Readers, Joseph, Luke and Michael; also Soye and Sam who brought forward the gifts.
