Important Notice For Year 9 Parent/Carers
Public Health England are encouraging support from schools as a venue for the vaccination of DTP (diphtheria, tetanus, Poliomyelitis) / Meningitis ACWY vaccinations for Year 9 pupils.
We are pleased to be able to support Public Health England in delivering the vaccination programme on Monday 8th February 2021, from 9.45am to 3.00pm.
Vaccinations will take place in the Year 9 area (Maths block and Quad) accessible from the car park off the Gretna Road entrance. Your son will be allocated a time (indicated below) based on his teaching set. Pupils must be accompanied by a responsible adult in case of an adverse reaction to the vaccination.
Public Health England will require permission from a parent/carer who has legal responsibility for the pupil (this does not need to be the adult accompanying the pupil on the day of the vaccination).
