The Jungle VIPs headed an all-stars cast of this year's World Book Day. The school enjoyed a week of celebrations in the run up to World Book Day 2024.
The dining hall at was transformed into a scene from Rudyard Kipling’s classic The Jungle Book, after we decided to take ‘Books into Film’ as our theme for this year’s event. Staff dressed as their favourite fictional characters, while quizzes took place in classes across the school. In addition, year group assemblies throughout the week focused on the benefits of reading, a group of Year 7 pupils enjoyed visits to Seven Stories, the National Centre for Children’s Books. Another great World Book Day success.
