Congratulations to our Year 13 students who armed with a great set of results are stepping out into the world with great care and tact. We have every confidence that they will go confidently into the world and will indeed move mountains.
“So be sure when you step, Step with care and great tact. And remember that life's A Great Balancing Act. And will you succeed? Yes! You will, indeed! (98 and ¾ percent guaranteed) Kid, you'll move mountains.”― Dr.Seuss, Oh, The Places You'll Go!
The school community is rightly very proud of the fantastic achievements of the Class of 2021. These young men could not have imagined that their sixth form experience would have taken place in such circumstances. Despite the challenges of lockdown and periods of isolation, they have, through sheer determination, ability and hard work, gained considerable success. They have become experts in remote learning, mastering lessons on MS Teams and learnt to do things in different ways. Their results are well-earned and well-deserved. We wish them every success in the future confident that they will build on what they have learnt here at St Cuthbert’s and so be ready to live their lives in the service of others.
