"It's not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves." (Sir Edmund Hillary) - Year 12 DofE Gold Award

At the end of a busy Easter Term, the Year 12 DofE Gold Expedition headed off into the hills. 

'How many roads must a man walk down until he will admit that he is lost?' 

The Year 12 students, all with excellent map reading skills were able to enjoy the expedition and the chance to enjoy the great outdoors. They were all determined to complete the expedition and the award, “for hiking is one of those things that you can only do when you have the determination in you." (unknown)
