Congratulations to Year 8 pupil Alfie Cook who recently competed in the 2022 English Schools' Athletic Association (ESAA) cross-country championship.
He represented Northumberland in the English Schools' Cross Country Championship in Kent.
Alfie was racing against the best runners in the country. There were 330 boys in the U15's category. The race was 4.4km and Alfie got an incredible time of 15 mins 33 seconds. There were 47 counties taking part and Northumberland finished 5th overall.
Well done to Alfie on his outstanding achievement.
